CIVIL WAR STATUE

Old Bronze plated hollow zinc statue of a Northern Civil war soldier or Indian wars period soldier in a battle setting. The base says "ARMY" , 12 Inches tall. This is a beautiful old statue late 1900's ? but it has some damage. The rifle is broken on both ends and a piece of the visor is broken and missing. A sad shame but it is still an impressive piece an has a lot of feeling as a piece of art. The broken butt stoke on the ground is not from the rifle in his hands,it is part of the casting as scattered battlefield debris, it goes well with his broken rifle though.
